Every traveler knows the importance of having reliable wi-fi while they’re on the road. Whether you just have the urgent need to upload your latest unique foodie find on Instagram or you need to check Googlemaps to navigate around in a foreign city, staying connected is really important. The problem is that not all establishments offer free wi-fi, and those that do are sometimes spotty at best.
Globe Telecom is giving travelers a chance to make their trip abroad worry-free with P599/day unlimited data roaming.
The P599 Flat Rate allows a Globe Postpaid subscriber to enjoy 24 hours of unlimited mobile surfing while roaming for only PHP599. To use the service, simply switch on your data roaming and you’ll be locked on to Globe’s partner carrier in your destination. As an added value, subscribers on the unlimited data roaming service also receive free TravelCare insurance which provides up to P200,000 worth of protection from travel inconveniences such as flight delays or cancellations, loss or damage of luggage, and accidents.
For avid travelers abroad, this means unlimited access to maps, hotel and restaurant reviews, online deals, tour information, concert schedules, online messaging, social media, and so much more for a full 24 hours. Take note that the service is only available to Globe Postpaid Plans. It is currently not available for Globe Prepaid, Load Tipid Plans and Load Allowance Plans.
