Kapurpurawan Landscapes

Surreal. Otherwordly. Almost alien.

These are just a few words that come to mind when seeing Kapurpurawan, a natural white sandstone formation carved by sea and wind,  in the town of Burgos, Ilocos Norte. Words can’t fully describe how I was amazed by the place and how it felt like I had just set foot on another world. Here instead are a few images of the masterpiece of Mother Nature in our midst.

  1. Nice. The rocks are just so photogenic that I think I can shoot beautiful photos wherever I aim my camera. Haha. Lovely lovely lovely. 😀

  2. Thanks. Yeah, everyone was saying even if you take a photo with a cellphone or small point and shoot camera, the photos still come out great 🙂

  3. Haaaay, I missed this when we went North recently. Been meaning to go, but it was difficult to manage time with a big group. Perhaps next visit. Promise!

Stunning photography. And pls do take credits for that. You earned it!

  4. Thanks Lili. We also had a limited time there, but thankfully the weather was good. The place also looks great during sunset based on other photos I’ve seen. Sad lang that there are names scribbled on some parts of the rocks. Hope the people in charge can preserve the place.
