With its wide, tree-lined roads, network of dedicated bike lanes, and lush, open spaces, Clark is an amazing destination for cyclists. Located in Pampanga roughly 2-3 hours from Metro Manila, the whole area offers a safe, accessible, and scenic escape perfect for both leisure riding and intense training. Bike events and races are regularly held here, but it’s also great for leisurely bike vacations and solo explorations.

Cyclists looking for a place to stay in Clark, where the whole family can enjoy, might want to consider The Henry Glass House Clark.

This cozy and stylish spot quietly opened in December 2025 and recently expanded for a total of 40 beautifully designed rooms. Select suites now come with plunge pools, perfect for cooling down after a long ride, and for travelers who want to stay somewhere beyond the usual in Pampanga.

I booked an overnight stay at The Henry Glass House Clark on a personal trip with my mom last February 2026, when the hotel was still in its soft opening phase, and recently returned for a bike vacation and as an invited guest during the hotel’s grand opening this May 2026.
Location
The cozy property under The Henry Hotels and Resorts group is located near the Clark Parade Grounds in Pampanga. The hotel is conveniently located near many local restaurants and cafes, Barnhouse restaurants, as well as the Clark Museum and 4D Theatre. Getting here takes roughly a 1.5 to 2-hour bus ride away from Metro Manila hubs by point-to-point bus passing SM Clark.

For international and province-based tourists, the hotel is a quick ride from the Clark International Airport. With many flights to the country’s top island destinations and international destinations available from CRK, staying longer in Clark is an option before heading to other destinations.

The new boutique hotel will also appeal to urbanites based in Metro Manila who want a relaxing staycation or family getaway without having to travel too far.

The Henry Glass House Clark grand opening
The property’s grand celebrated the vibrant cycling scene and lifestyle in Clark, kicking off with a community ride around the tree-lined streets around the area.

Having brought our bikes from Manila to Clark, we joined the lively bike parade in the morning, in the company of local cycling enthusiasts including the Cruz Control Community. Other guests joined the parade aboard Hail electric vehicles, an all-electric ride-hailing platform operating in Clark.

After a 20-km ride at a leisurely pace around the grounds, guests gathered for a mass, hotel blessing and ceremonial ribbon cutting. In attendance were distinguished guests, including Clark Development Corporation CEO and President Atty. Agnes Devanadera, Department of Tourism Regional Director Richard G. Daenos, The Henry Hotels and Resorts Innkeeper Hanky Lee, and Chief Operating Officer August Samala.

After the morning’s festivities, partners and stakeholders toasted to The Henry’s official arrival in Clark over a hearty lunch at Lucky Dumpling at 8th Avenue Lifestyle Mall within Hann Resorts, a short drive from the hotel.

Before heading home, select media guests also got a rolling tour of the Clark’s sprawling grounds and got a guided tour around the Clark Museum to gain a better appreciation of the area’s geology, history, traditions, and craftsmanship.

Many thanks to The Henry Hotel for inviting us to join the grand opening and bike parade around Clark. We’ll definitely be back for future rides.
