Klook Unveils Home-Based Experiences & Free Virtual Tours

Social distancing, travel restrictions, and stay-at-home measures have limited our ability to travel and the desire for the human connection is now more important than ever. To help customers stay connected even while staying at home, Klook, a world-leading travel activities, and services booking platform announced the launch of its new home-based experiences initiative, Klook Home.

Klook Home consists of home-based online experiences such as fitness and wellness online classes, digital learning workshops, Do-It-Yourself (DIY) gardening and baking kits, as well as free virtual tours to help you stay connected, wherever you are across the globe.

How Travel in the Philippines May Change after COVID

The travel and tourism industry has been hit hard by the global pandemic. At this point, everything remains uncertain, and we can’t really know if and when things will bounce back to “normal.” As movement around the world has become restricted, airlines and hotels have been forced to cut jobs to lower costs. With Taal Volcano’s ongoing eruption, everybody’s on edge. Thousands of residents who live near the lake have been displaced and animals have been abandoned on the island. The landscape of Taal’s Volcano Island will probably never be the same again.

It’s scary to think of what could happen in the future. It makes you wonder how prepared we are considering that the Philippines is an archipelago of more than 7,100 islands, most of which are volcanic in origin. In fact, there are at least 300 volcanoes in the country.

Things to do in El Nido on a Motorbike

El Nido in Palawan is famous for its beautiful beaches, lagoons, and outdoor activities. While some people choose to explore this magical place by island-hopping tours, others may want to explore at their own pace on rented motorbikes.

While most of the main highways in Palawan are now fully paved, some alleys in smaller towns are pretty narrow. Fun outdoor activities for the rainy season

The Philippines is a tropical island, with two major seasons: wet and dry. The months of June to October are generally wet, while September and October are often the typhoon season in the Philippines. While we do get dry days, weather is generally unpredictable, making it difficult to plan travel and vacations, especially if sea travel is involved.

The rainy season can really curb one’s enthusiasm for travel and adventure. But if you’re already in the country during the monsoon season, what can you do?
