For solo travelers and budget backpackers, there are some affordable guesthouses, inns and hostels right along the beach. The pet-friendly Hotel Motel Charlie Does Inn, right behind Costa Pacifica, offers basic beds for P500 P800 a night and has a great cafe that serves Vegetarian Food and beer. Walk around and you’ll be sure to find accommodations to fit your budget.

Some resorts allow beach camping for those who want to pitch tents. For those who want to rent tents from them, it will cost P150/head. If you bring your own tent, the fee is P100/head. There are several basic outdoor public restrooms near the camping grounds.

Another good option is Cobra Reef Surf Camp which has spacious grounds for setting up tents and a few native cottages where you can enjoy picnics with a view of the beach. I think this is a good spot for bikepackers, motocampers and road trippers with their own vehicles who want to pitch tents and hang up hammocks.

The resort is just in front of Cobra Reef, a more advanced surfing spot compared to Sabang Beach. They also have a small outdoor dipping pool facing the sea.
