Motorcycle Tours & Big Bike Rentals in the Philippines

Motorcycle Tourism has really taken off around the world and in the Philippines. While you can rent scooters and underbones in smaller island provinces to drive on your own for easy exploration, some riders prefer using higher displacement adventure or touring bikes especially if they have to pass through the expressways going up North and down South in mainland Luzon. Other international tourists who are not that familiar with the Philippines might prefer to ride in the company of a group for safety and security.

Some guided motorbike tours also bring along support vehicles and a mechanic to ensure the adventure is hassle-free for customers. With guided tours, you get the benefit of a clear itinerary and pre-arrangements on where to eat and sleep while visiting the best spots.

I’ve come across a few Philippine-based Motorcycle Tour Companies that offer guided motorbike tours and adventure / touring bike rentals suitable for multi-day rides. While more expensive than just renting smaller bikes from neighborhood shops, reputable companies usually offer the proper riding gear, crash helmets and comprehensive insurance.

I’m compiling this to serve as a reference for international riders who have been messaging me looking for leads on guided motorcycle tours, renting quality high-displacement bikes, luxury bikes and custom bikes in the Philippines, since these are not as widely available as small displacement bikes.

Ride Along Motorcycle Tours Philippines

Ride Along Motorcycle Tours Philippines is a tour operator in the adventure holiday category offering an alternative to the usual seat-in-coach, vans and bus tours. The company is owned by Enable Hospitality Inc., and operated by Travel Concierge Ph. The group organizes ride holiday itineraries on cruisers and touring motorcycles where guests can join as a back rider, solo rider on assigned bike, or a joiner with their own bike.

They offer day trips from Manila to popular riding destinations near the metro like Tagaytay, Taal and Laiya as well as 2D/1N trips further to Zambales, Pangasinan, Baguio, Baler, Bagasbas and Naga. But rather than focusing on the place, the real product here is the experience of riding a cruiser or luxury motorcycles as a passenger or rider in formation going there.

Their fleet includes stunning big bikes including a Harley Davidson Street, Kawasaki Vulcan S, Yamaha MT 09 Tracer, Royal Enfield Classic and Himalayan and similar bikes. They also offer motorcycle rentals on Quarter Day (6hrs), Half Day (12hrs) & Whole Day (24hrs) basis. Pick-up and drop-off of motorcycles will be in the main store based in Paranaque. Special pick-up and drop-off subject fees apply.

Philippine Moto Tours (Manila)

Philippine Moto Tours is composed of a group of passionate riders who enjoy exploring the beauty of the Philippines through Motorcycle Tourism. They offer adventure and touring motorcycles for rent ideal for day rides, weekend getaways and long rides. Their fleet of bikes are mostly Royal Enfield Himalayans, which combine outstanding versatility and all-day comfort for all rides.

The Himalayan is known for its long-travel suspension, natural upright riding position, and a durable & torque-heavy engine which all add up to a comfortable ride for you whether you’re riding on the highway, city streets, or remote mountain roads.

Philippine Moto Tours offers destination packages from day rides from Manila to Tagaytay, to weekend getaways to Baguio, or a week long tour of North Luzon through the mountains of Cordillera and surf at San Juan La Union or down south of Luzon to see Mayon Volcano. They also offer Ride and Camp packages to little-known spots. They can work with you to create an ideal itinerary to make your ride a memorable and enjoyable one. Their headquarters is located at the east side of the Metro about 18kms from Makati CBD.

Nice Bike (Angeles City, Pampanga)

Nice Bike has the biggest selection of rental bikes in Angeles City. All bikes are in excellent condition, well maintained and serviced. Models include the Kawasaki Versys 650, Kawasaki Vulcan 650, Honda CRF250L, Honda CBR 150fi, Honda XR 200, Kymco Super8, and Honda Wave to name a few.

Rentals rates range from P300 per day for the scooters to P2,000 per day for the big bikes. Passport is required for the large bikes.

Ace Motorcycles (Angeles City, Pampanga)

Ace Motorcycles is a British-owned Motorcycle design, manufacture and distribution company that aims to provide customers with great bikes at great prices.

Their bikes include a Crossover 250 CC, Adventurer 250 CC, Roaster 400 CC and Scrambler 400 cc, some units of which are available for rent for self-guided motorcycle tours.

Palawan Ural Adventures (Puerto Princesa, Palawan)

Palawan is one of the best islands to ride in the Philippines, but bringing your own motorcycle from the mainland can be challenging (and expensive in terms of cargo fees), so it’s much better to rent from there.

Palawan Ural Adventures, based in Puerto Princesa, organizes guided/self drive Ural sidecar tours for foreign and local tourists around the island of Palawan. They have a number of Ural bikes (off-road ready sidecar motorcycles), which is perfect for couples who need to travel with a lot of luggage. They also have regular bikes like Royal Enfield Classics and dual sport bikes.

Their motorcycle adventure tours showcase the beauty of Palawan through the scenic twisting roads of Puerto Princesa Highway to rough and dusty back roads of Port Barton, San Vicente and El Nido leading to untouched forest and beautiful beaches of Palawan. Rentals and tours need to be prearranged beforehand to ensure availability of units.

Loose Keys Moto Culture (Siargao)

Loose Keys Moto Culture is a motorcycle infused lifestyle brand founded and based on Siargao Island, one of the top surfing destinations in the Philippines. There are a lot of motorbikes you can rent there, but they offer some of the best looking and unique custom-built bikes that combine the surf and moto lifestyle.

Their small-displacement bikes are eye-catching and sleek surf-scramblers or brat custom bikes conceptualized and handcrafted by Benjo Sun of 3B Customs Moto Garage based in Surigao City. Many of the modified bikes have detachable hooks for mounting and transporting surfboards to uncrowded surf spots if needed. They don’t offer guided motorbike tours, but you can just rent out these bikes and drive around Siargao yourself.

NOTE: These are just a few companies I’ve come across that offer guided motorcycle tours and adventure bike rentals in the Philippines. If you know any similar motorcycle tour operators in the Philippines, feel free to shoot me an email with details so I can add them to the list.

  1. Hey,

Guess we are not on this list 🙂

Belonging to those companies with “small” and little bigger “rented” bikes although we do offer mototrips on all Palawan (means the whole Island), hiking to the highest peak in deep jungle or visit the softest sand beach(es) of this Island.

We have done 4 years/100k kms preparation to get the best places to go 😉 Also, we are fully registered/legal and based in El Nido.

Let us know if you are in Palawan or El Nido sometime.

    Cheers,
    Gabor

Ps.: Our website is going to be ready soon.

  2. Hi to evryone, any suggestion and recommendation were to rent at least 6 to 8 motorcycle (Adventure bikes 400cc to 600cc up) route plan is Manila to Cebu Moto-tour on or February to March 2021. riders are 5’9 and above height and over a 100 kilos in weight.

As we are coming from the U.S, what is needed to be legal like license, Insurance, papers, lagel SLEX and NLEX bike etc.,

  3. Hi Willy, I suggest you get in touch with either Philippine Moto Tours or Ride Along Motorcycle Tours since both provide big bikes with proper riding gear, papers, insurance etc. I think the Royal Enfield Himalayan would be a good fit for riders of your height and weight requirements 🙂 Enjoy your ride around the Philippines. Fair warning, driving around Manila is terrible, but once you get away, it’s great. Cebu is an awesome riding destination. 🙂

  4. Hi, we are from CIMAMotor (China Motorcycle Trade Exhibition), which is the biggest motorcycle exhibition. We are looking for motorcycle tour operators from all over the world to attend our exhibition in September 19-21.

  5. This is a really nice post. Rented my self motorbike from Philippinesmotor. tour the owner is a foreigner and he is a sweet guy. I found his motorbike listed on book2wheel where he is offering discounts. The normal daily rental price is for Royal Enfield Himalayan is 2500 pesos, but if you rent it for 5 days then he rents out for 1500 pesos a day. Also, he has a long term rental discount as well.
I hope this information is useful to other riders. One more thing if you are riding on the express road in manila you can only travel on a 400cc motorbike and you need a card to pay toll tax.

  6. Try motorcycle tour Philippines. The owner’s name is Kannan. He has a 400cc motorcycle and a 600 cc motorcycle as well. He is the best guy so far in Manila. If you are arriving In Manila you can have his motorbikes delivered to Airport. he provides you all the equipment. He also offers tours. Admin the already shared his picture above the most. He is the owner of Royal Enfield.
You can chat with him and see all the list of his motorcycle here
