Planning for your family vacations this Christmas season? Disney fans based in the Philippines have another good reason to book a cruise on the Disney Adventure sailing from Singapore! The Disney Cruise line announced that they’re adding Langkawi, Malaysia as a port of call for select 5D4N Disney Adventure sailings beginning December 31, 2026.
One of my favorite experiences aboard the Disney Adventure cruise ship as a child-free adult was hopping around the cafes and bars inspired by different Disney, Marvel, and Pixar films. It’s not every day you get to do coffee crawls and pub crawls while at sea, and the themed bars on the cruise ship were just fantastic.
Like the ship’s themed areas and main restaurants, every cafe, bar, tea salon, nightclub, and lounge featured incredibly detailed interiors, whimsical touches, and unique signature drinks referencing Disney characters and films.

Iron Man himself will be christening the new Disney Cruise Line in Singapore. Academy Award-winning actor Robert Downey Jr. has officially been appointed as the godparent for the Disney Adventure, Disney Cruise Line’s newest and largest ship. The vessel will be sailing on its maiden voyage from its home port in Singapore next month.
Downey’s role as the genius, billionaire, playboy and philanthropist Tony Stark/Iron Man remains the heart of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the highest-grossing film franchise of all time. His character’s cinematic journey as Iron Man culminated in Avengers: Endgame. Downey was named an official Disney Legend in 2019 and is set to star as Doctor Doom in Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday, in theaters Dec. 18.
